Titans secure extra facilities

Dear All,

 

The Adelaide Titans are delighted to announce securing the use of the Western Youth Centre ground and clubroom facilities which are located at 79 Marion Road, Cowandilla for the upcoming 2012 season. The facilities at this site include one full size playing pitch with lighting, changerooms and a function hall. 

The Club would like to take this opportunity to thank the Western Youth Centre Management Committee for enabling the Club to secure the use of this great facility. We look forward to forging a long-term relationship with the Management Committee of which we are now a Member. 

Securing this facility along with the Club's current facilities at John Mitchell Reserve and also at Henley Grange Memorial Reserve will enable the Adelaide Titans to have greater flexibility in regards to training sessions and also on game day. Securing these new facilities has ensured the continued growth of the Club well into the future. 

John Mitchell Reserve will remain the home of the Adelaide Titans. 

Commencing tomorrow Thursday 29 March 2012 the following will apply for training:

 

• As and Bs will train out of the Western Youth Centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays commencing at 6.30pm.

• C (White) will be training at John Mitchell Reserve on Tuesdays and Thursdays commencing at 6.30pm.

 

It is shaping up to be a very exciting year for the Adelaide Titans and we are looking forward to a great year on and off the park.

Titans fielding second C side in 2012

The Adelaide Titans will be fielding a second C side in the upcoming 2012 season and we are looking to appoint a suitably qualified coach to lead this new team and join our coaching staff.  Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.

Adelaide Titans Pre Season

The Adelaide Titans are pleased to announce that pre-season training will commence on Tuesday 10th January. All current and interested players are welcomed. Training sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6.30pm and 8.30pm at the Lockleys North Primary School (enter from carpark in Pierson Street). All training sessions will be held at the school unless otherwise advised.

CLUB PHYSIO / TRAINER REQUIRED

We are seeking an active, energetic and outgoing Physiotherapy University Student (third or fourth year) who would undertake the role of club Physiotherapist/Trainer.

The person we seek would undertake the following:

  • attend training sessions which are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm;
  • during training sessions undertake general strapping, massages, assess injuries and liase with our coaching staff regarding rehabilitation and availability of injured players;
  • develop rehabilitation programs for injured players and assess them prior to being made available for selection; and
  • attend game day (Saturdays) between the hours of 10am and 5pm which would cover the 3 matches played to undertake strapping, massages, assess injuries and liase with our coaching staff as required.

The season starts in mid April and runs through to mid September and so the person would be required every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for the times stated above, during these months.

Titans Players Meeting

Dear All,

The Adelaide Titans Football Club would like to invite all existing and interested players to a Players Meeting on Sunday 27th November 2011. The meeting will be held at the Navarino Hall (83 South Road, Thebarton), commencing at 4pm. This meeting will give everyone the opportunity to meet the coaching staff and obtain details about the up-coming pre-season. Barbecue and drinks will be provided compliments of the club.
